How Is it possible to ethically steal blog content? There are many ways, but if you follow this method, youll end up thinking and actually writing originally. Its less about stealing and more about being influenced. No matter what you write about, it is nearly impossible to be completely original.
Aside from writing poetry, fiction or creating something groundbreaking, nearly any thought you have is based on something someone else has already done. We borrow ideas all the time and give them our own personal touch.
Lets look at the type of blogger who re-reports the news. Most news organizations charge a fee to reprint their stories or to use their ideas. Many of them charge ridiculously high prices. Recently, comedian George Carlin passed away. After hearing the news from major networks, thousands of bloggers and site owners reported the same thing.
Is this stealing? According to some, it is. It becomes a gray area where the lines between stealing and originality are blurred. Because it is a fact, I wouldnt consider to be theft. The major news corporations should be paying
us, not the other way around.
Many of us place pictures of actresses and stars on our sites. Is is stealing? Actually, it is. Its always best to use your own pictures, not ones owned by someone else. If you use a picture from someone else, make sure you at least link and give credit to the originator.
1. Give links and full credit for any quoted material. 2. Dont cut and paste entire blocks of text from other sites onto yours. 3. Use public domain pictures. 4. If you want to use someones picture, ask them for permission.
The main area where theft occurs is in the affiliate marketing niche. If you write on this subject, you probably read many other similar resources. Its best to read enough about a subject so that you understand an underlying concept.
Once understood, you can create your own article based on what youve learned. Dont just reword articles, create your own which are based on others. Youll come out with something original and worth reading.
Whenever you publish original content on the world wide web, it is out in the open. It can easily be stolen by anyone and used for monetary gain. Some SEO oriented site owners say its almost an honor to be quoted and copied. It means they are writing good information.
A good analogy is to compare article writing with music writing or singing. A good singer can sing someone elses song and still make it original. Thats what its all about. Make it your own and just be yourself.
